
Models perform at a lingerie fashion show at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District yesterday to unveil the 17th China (Shenzhen) International Brand Lingerie Exhibition. The three-day event is the first exhibition of Shenzhen fashion industry this year.
The annual event has been successfully held for 16 consecutive years. It is not only a brand event supported by the Ministry of Commerce, but also one of the top 10 brand exhibitions in Shenzhen. The event has gathered more than 1,500 exhibitors. A rich variety of activities such as a grand awards ceremony, 50 fashion shows, 15 summit forums and business matching will be held.
According to the White Paper on Chinese Women’s Lingerie released by Metropolitan Beauty, a leading Chinese lingerie brand, the market scale of Chinese lingerie brands reached 176.9 billion yuan (US$26.2 billion) in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. It is expected that the market scale will reach 495.3 billion yuan by 2030. (Shenzhen Daily)
