PART of Hongqiao Park in Guangming District has opened to the public recently and the highlight of the park is a long red bridge, like a ribbon decorating the mountains.

Called “Hongqiao,” the bridge is 4 kilometers long and 5 meters wide. It starts from Xincheng Park in the west and connects Marathon Mountain and Lake Greenway in the east. The bridge connects Xincheng Park, Hongqiao Park and Dadingling Mountain Forest Park into a complete urban ecological area, creating a multidimensional landscape experience for visitors. It is the second-largest single-column multi-curve steel structure landscape bridge in China.

In the multifunctional sports field, the double-layer spiral ladder is connected with Hongqiao, and visitors can enjoy watching sports such as basketball, tennis and volleyball from different angles. Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of the city’s landscape. (Shenzhen Daily)
