TWO scenic spots – Shenyun Valley in Nanshan District and Luoxiangyuan Dike Leisure Space in Dapeng New Area, started to welcome tourists recently.

Located at the southern foot of Tanglang Mountain, the 443-hectare Shenyun Valley consists of three major areas, including Shenyun Square, three valleys and six hiking trails. Visitors can observe many national protected rare plants such as flying spider-monkey tree fern (Alsophila spinulosa) and fairy lake sago (Cycas fairylakea). They can also enjoy a variety of colorful butterflies dancing in the valley.

There are six hiking trails in the scenic area totaling 9.6 kilometers. Hiking time varies from half an hour, one hour to four hours. The nearest Metro station to Shenyun Valley, which is near Longyuan Road, is Line 7’s Taoyuancun Station Exit C.

Luoxiangyuan Dike Leisure Space is part of the ongoing Phase III reconstruction project of Dapeng’s East Dike, which spans across a coastline around 15.6 kilometers and has six construction units, such as Dapeng Pengcheng Eastern Dike.

Luoxiangyuan section is located at the western end of the Pengcheng Eastern Dike and adjacent to the mouth of Pengcheng River and Jiaochangwei beach. This leisure space links neighboring natural resources, including the shoreline, farmlands, mountains and fish ponds, with a walking trail, creating unique sceneries integrating forest, farmlands and sea.

Visitors can visit the dike area by appointment though the WeChat account “Dongbu Haidi Sanqi”. (Shenzhen Daily)
