SIGHTSEERS now have a new interesting place to visit in Nan’ao as the landscape improvement project of Haigang Road in Dapeng New Area has recently been completed, DT News reported.
“I used to drive on Haigang Road but the sea view was blocked by the green belt. Now the scenery of the whole Yueliang Bay and the open sea can be seen quickly from a distance. It raises my spirits,” a citizen surnamed Li told the News.
Against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, there are white guardrails and date palms from the Middle East along the coastal promenade. At the foot is a wavy pavement of gray granite. The viewing platform is equipped with light installations.
A new pedestrian staircase was built on the coastal promenade, which leads sightseers directly to the Yueliang Bay Square through the Yueliang Bay coastal promenade. The 7-kilometer-long promenade is dubbed “the most beautiful sunset promenade” in Shenzhen.
“In the past, blocked by the green belt, customers who wanted a sea view could only sit on the second floor. Now, they can also enjoy the stunning sea view on the first floor,” a seafood restaurant owner surnamed Zhong was quoted as saying.
According to Zhong, whose restaurant is situated near Haigang Road, the landscape has been significantly improved after the project’s completion, which also helps his business prosper.
Haigang Road’s landscape improvement project is located in the central urban area of Nan’ao. Covering an area of about 3,100 square meters, it is an important part of Yueliang Bay coastal promenade. (Shenzhen Daily)
