NOW through May 31, The Langham, Shenzhen’s Palm Court is joining hands again with French luxury cosmetics brand Guerlain to present the Guerlain Sensational Temptation Afternoon Tea Set. The pastry team has incorporated the Orchidée Impériale series from Guerlain products into dessert creations and presents the afternoon tea with exquisite shapes and tempting flavors.
Inheriting The Langham’s over 150-year refined afternoon tea tradition, Palm Court continues to deliver exceptional and luxurious experiences for guests with sophisticated and imaginative thematic afternoon teas.
As part of the selection of sweets, the pastry team has created the Sensory Pleasure Quartet, a mousse cake featuring Guerlain’s signature white, black, gold and purple elements, with each color representing a different cake flavor. This tasty indulgence is topped off with edible orchids for an additional touch of class and elegance.
Gold Age is a lychee mousse jelly with sable that is inspired by the Guerlain Orchidée Impériale age-defying eye cream. The combination of silky-smooth mousse jelly and a crispy crust base leaves a sweet fragrance that lingers in the mouth.
Just as Guerlain Orchidée Impériale products encourage the skin to breathe, Respiration Spirits is a refreshing dessert made with lime and apple, which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Those looking for something savory will not be disappointed with the selection of five ingenious creations made with ingredients that are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, such as nuts, and seafood, dressing with seasonal vegetables and fruits.
This unique collaboration between The Langham, Shenzhen and Guerlain will continue beyond the delicacies. During the three-month period, an offline fashion event will be jointly organized every month. Invited professionals will show guests practical tips in makeup, fragrance, color-matching and other fashion skills.
